About Women in Process Mining

Women in Process Mining is a global community dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in the field of process mining. Our mission is to bring together the most influential women in the process mining industry to amplify their influence and inspire the next wave of female trailblazers in this dynamic space. 

About the role: 

As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy on Instagram and LinkedIn. You will be the creative force behind our online presence, focusing on content creation, audience engagement, and brand building. Your mission is to foster meaningful connections with our target audience and drive brand awareness.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Content Creation: 
    • Develop engaging, high-quality content for LinkedIn and Instagram, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
    • Maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent and cohesive brand message.
  • Social Media Strategy
    •  Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with company goals and values.
    • Analyze audience insights and market trends to refine the strategy for each platform.
  • Community Management 
    •  Monitor, respond to, and engage with our social media community, addressing comments and messages promptly and professionally.
    •  Foster a positive and active community that enhances brand loyalty.
  • Brand Consistency 
    • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all social media platforms.
    • Uphold brand guidelines while being creative and innovative. 

Requirements: 

  • You are working in the field of process mining.
  • You are passionate for promoting diversity and including in the field of process mining.
  • You have proven experience in Social Media Content Creation. 
  • You are familiar with current social media trends and best practices. 
  • You have in-depth knowledge of Canva, Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • You have the ability to work independently and collaboratively with a remote team.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • You love creative thinking and you have a keen eye for details. 
  • You are able to work effectively in a fast-paces, collaborative environment.
  • You are driven. 
  • You take responsibility.

Time commitment: This is a volunteer position that may require a flexible time commitment, depending on chapter activities and events.

Your role is crucial in ensuring that our website is user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and up to date with the latest information and features.

  • Website Development
    • Create, design, and maintain the WIPM Community website using WordPress.
    • Ensure the website is visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive on all devices.
  • Content Management
    • Update website content, including articles, event information, resources, and member profiles.
    • Optimize and organize content for SEO.
  • Plugin Management 
    • Select and install WordPress plugins to enhance the website's functionality, as needed.
    • Ensure all plugins are up to date and compatible.
  • Security and Performance
    • Implement security measures to protect the website from potential threats.
    • Optimize website performance for fast loading and smooth user experience.
  • Collaboration
    • Collaborate with the WIPM Community team to align website development with the community's goals and initiatives.
    • Work with graphic designers and content creators to integrate media and visuals effectively.

Requirements: 

  • You are working in the field of process mining.
  • You are passionate for promoting diversity and including in the field of process mining.
  • You have proven experience as a Web Developer with expertise in WordPress.
  • You have proficiency in web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • You are familiar with responsive design and mobile optimization.
  • You have knowledge of SEO best practices and tools.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

As a Chapter Leader, you will play a crucial role in advancing our mission within your local or regional community. You will be responsible for organizing and leading local events, fostering relationships, and creating a supportive network for women in the process mining field.

  • Chapter leadership:
    • Lead the Women in Process Mining chapter in your designated area
    • Develop and execute a chapter strategy aligned with WIPM’s mission 
    • Attend monthly virtual chapter leader gatherings with the WIPM global leadership team
  • Event organization: 
    • Organize events, workshops, webinars and social gatherings in your area (minimum one per quarter) for chapter member
  • Member engagement: 
    • Recruit and engage members within your region, creating a diverse and inclusive community
    • Foster relationships among members, providing support and mentorship opportunities
    • Mentor and support emerging leaders within your chapter
  • Advocacy and outreach: 
    • Act as an advocate for diversity and inclusion in process mining within your region
    • Establish partnerships and collaborations with local organizations 
    • Showcase success stories and achievements of local chapter members
  • Marketing:
    • Be responsible for your own Marketing Strategy in alignment with the Global WIPM Team
    • Create Social Media posts in CANVA (e.g. Instagram) for your dedicated Chapter

Requirements: 

  • You are working in the field of process mining 
  • You are passionate for promoting diversity and including in the field of process mining 
  • You have strong communication and leadership skills 
  • You have the ability to work independently and collaboratively with a remote team 
  • You are motivated to build something from scratch 
  • If you have organizational, event planning and digital marketing experience, it is a plus
